—beauty is wellness, wellness is beauty—
Cheers to the NEW YEAR! I am so proud of you for officially making it through the first week of the new year! There is a lot of pressure in the first week + months of a new year; that of starting any NY resolutions, cleaning up the final tinsel + holiday decor, + getting back into a routine! Let’s not forget the part about being “healthier”.
I pose the question, what is your version of healthier?
Could it be that you are working out with a trainer to target exact goals?
Getting more Vitamin D?
Aiming to taking in more protein daily?
Whatever your version of heathly is, understand it all starts in one common place;
—healthy starts from within, in our Gut Microbiome.
Our microbiome, located mainly in the colon but also inhabiting the esophagus, stomach + small intestine, is the home of 10-100 trillion microbe cells that communicate with one another + create an ecosystem, in you! This ecosystem is responsible for so many vital factors + functions in you leading a healthy life + passing it on to future generations, literally. It is also known as the 2nd brain.
Pretty darn fascinating!!!
In this New Year, we are starting a —Beauty on the Inside—series + we are going to focus on the following:
GUT HEALTH-+ the importance of it in order to fully live + feel your best.
I want to share what I have learned along the way for the last year+ about the incredible way our gut health contributes to us having the healthiest life possible. It all started with an acid reflux health issue + how that led to a healthier gut. I can whole heartedly say, I have never felt healthier than I do right now!
I’M SO EXCITED TO SHARE MY STORY WITH YOU! It beyond fascinates me!✨
You can expect this series to deliver more information + a deeper dive into what the gut microbiome is, how it works, what benefits we receive by tending to our gut health, healthy food options + recipes, tips + tricks to promote healthy gut, + my direct insight of my experience from my personal journey. This is beauty on the inside!
